Highlights around you

Your freeride mecca
Where powder dreams come true. Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl is Europe's uncrowned capital for freeriders and powder hunters. With its high alpine location (1,000-2,100m above sea level), the ski area guarantees you snow-sure deep snow adventures until Easter. Fed by natural snowfall and perfectly secured off-piste routes. Legendary descents such as the east run on the Gamskogel and a breathtaking summit backdrop can only be experienced here. Marked but unprepared ski routes through snow-covered forests, ideal for getting into the deep snow.
Refreshment tip:
The Burgstallhütte. The "Herzerlhütte" - probably Salzburg's most traditional ski hut with history and culinary treasures - has been enthroned in the middle of powder paradise since 1634: Regional O-Power soup pot (created by star chef Rudi Obauer), home-distilled schnapps and Amadé Auslese wines. Experience the "warmest" hosts Regina, Franz and Lux.
